Soccer is a unique sport insofar that the the coach’s influence is limited once the ball is kicked off. The coach needs to lay out his team in a manner that he feels will give his squad the best chance of success. We’re here to look at those tactical battles and try to give you the how and why of what worked.
We’re based out of Cambridge, Massachusetts and support local soccer so we hope to keep our analysis relatively local. We’re not going to hold ourselves to that though, so don’t be surprised if we take a crack at US Men’s National team matches and other squad from around the globe. It is the world’s game after all.
